As part of our teacher training program, we were assigned to conduct moral science classes on Thursdays and Fridays at St. John's HSS Model School in Nalanchira. We focused on the topic of inhibition, discussing how it can hinder students from expressing their true skills and talents. The students actively participated in the discussions and engaged in various classroom activities, gaining valuable insights into overcoming these restraints.

Students were excited to learn through creative ICT (Information and Communication Technology) content. The teacher incorporated an engaging ICT learning environment in the classroom. As a result, the students actively participated and immersed themselves in the lessons.

As part of our teacher training program, we, the prospective teacher team of Mar Theophilus Training College, had the opportunity to conduct a motivational talk and ice-breaking activity session for Student Police Cadets (SPC) students at St. John's Higher Secondary School in Nalanchira.  The session was a great success, with the students actively participating and engaging in the activities.

The teacher trainees took the initiative to organize a series of engaging activities for the students. They conducted quiz programmes and essay writing competitions, providing a platform for the students to showcase their knowledge and creativity. At the end of the events, the teacher trainees took great pride in congratulating the winners on their impressive performances, recognizing and celebrating their achievements.

Mar Theophilus Training College's NSS unit organized a blood donation awareness program at St. John's School on World Blood Donor Day. The event aimed to educate students about the importance of blood donation and encourage them to become regular blood donors.

                    Team St. John's 1st Day signature - Morning  The first day has come to a close, providing an opportunity to reflect on the events, experiences, and insights gained throughout the day. This initial phase sets the tone and lays the foundation for the journey ahead, making it a crucial milestone worth examining in detail.

Introduction to 2nd phase teaching practice and orientation. Second year teaching practice modules focus on guided observation, team teaching with mentor teachers, and independent teaching. The key aspects are: • 5 weeks of compulsory placement in schools • Planning lessons with mentor teachers Teaching lessons under mentor supervision • Critically reflecting on lesson planning and practice with mentors and supervisors Leaders were assigned to different schools and handed over register for daily attendance marking.
